The Vermont Vignettes

We are happy to present our feature for the next three months—"The Vermont Vignettes." Burma Cassidy Wissner came up with the brilliant idea. She suggested that we put a call out to our membership asking them to hook a small rug, which would express their feelings about Vermont. Hookers were given the backing and a piece of wool that had been casserole dyed with colors that followed the rainbow. The wool was to be used for 2 rows of border. And from there the sky was the limit. The membership was extremely enthusiastic and 87 rugs were handed in for last year's show. They have been at the Vermont State House for the summer and fall. We are so proud to show them on our website. They are a masterpiece of original work.
