Words are not enough to express the gratitude I feel for our guild.  From the beautiful works of art that were exhibited at Hooked in the Mountains XV to the very last member helping me take down the show on Monday (Judy Cole and husband!).  Every volunteer who helped make it all happen is a gift to our membership.
This show means so much to me and to so many people who came and were inspired to learn, teach, share their time and energy and to continue growing as rug hooking artists.  It was an honor to chair the show.  It was a joy to be able to work with all the people who pitched in.  Stay tuned for the special Show edition Newsletter. You will be able to read about  the winners of Viewer's choice, the financial status of the show, and finally  the future plans for Hooked in the Mountains XVI.  In the mean time, if you have nominations for Featured Artists or suggestions  for improving the show experience for viewers please feel free to drop me a line.
    Sincerely,
    Jen Lavoie

As one who is not able to help with the logistics of the show, thank you to everyone who takes care of the thousands of tasks that make it possible. I know it is a great deal of work — thank you, thank you.

Hooked in the Mountains was the 1st rug show and classes that I have attended.  What a great time I had, esp. making friends with ladies in my class taught by C. Brubaker.  I took some great pictures in our class and of the rugs, but they are not digital  --  taken w/ a 35mm camera.  Do you want any copies??  Thank you, ladies, for all your hard work and creativity for putting on this spectacular event!!  Fondly, Lorie Lee Sutphin, Martinsburg, WV    P.S.  What dates will the 2012 show/classes be held??   I definitely want to attend!!

    Hi Lorie,
I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your 1st experience at Hooked in the Mountains.  We would love to see your pictures and possibly use them in the scrapbook that we plan on putting together.
At this point the board/show committee is still waiting to get all the final numbers back from the show.   If we have managed to get close to our goal of level funding the show then we will go ahead with another show next year.  My hope is that we will have plans settled by the end of this week!  You will receive an email announcement so stay tuned!  There will also be a special show edition newsletter in January  that will give more specific information.
Thanks again for your comments and for your inquiry!
    Sincerely,
    Jen Lavoie

    Hi Jen,

I just saw your reply  --  sorry it took me so long to answer.  My pictures are of the rugs.  They pretty much are the same as the ones Lauri posted.  Let me know so I can go to Walgreen's to make copies if you still have a need for pictures of the rugs on display.  Take care.  Fondly, Lorie Sutphin
